Not sure of any actually in EC2 - there are a whole host just to the East in the Brick Lane area, some good, many average, some awful, but none very expensive in my experience. For competent but fairly standard Tandoori the Temple Tandoori on Fleet Street (or is it the Strand) is OK. (EC4 I know.) In St Katherine's Dock there is Mala which is a bit better and has some interesting dishes. But for something a bit different, in smart surroundings, with good food and service, go to the Bengal Clipper - just over Tower Bridge in the Butler's Wharf development. They have a number of seafood dishes and other things which I hadn't seen elsewhere. Not cheap though - maybe 40 quid a head for three courses, modest wine and coffee. >Please reply to Ben<at>sharkey.demon.co.uk Done also Paul

Good Indian In EC2
Try (all of) Drummond Street, near Euston Station. Also, The Eastern Tandoori in Burdett Road, London E14. Gordo.
