The White Horse or the White Swan in Richmond are both nice pubs with very good food. Partner and I had lunch at the White Swan a couple of weeks ago, were content with the portions and the quality, and there were several families having lunch at the same time. The White Horse has better food, but tends to be a bit more pubby in atmosphere . . . but I have only ever had dinner there.

Ahhhhh, the good old days.... Sorry, Rogi, The White Hart is a building site! Got a new hotel going up, I should be passing it by on Saturday, I'll have a nose around, find the theme shite!

Anglers is still nice-ish, (burger & chips nice), but best around that way, imho, is the Kings (Head or Arms) in Teddington High Street. If the standard can be judged, fairly, from the type of cars in the car park, it's the Dogs best bits.

| Yes I'd agree with both of those too, also worth trying are the
| 'Anglers' by Teddington Lock (good view there too!), and the 'White
| Hart' in Hampton Wick.
|
| Me and 'my lot' have eaten in both millions of times, and have no
| complaints.
|

Try the Cricketers Arms in Chobham (or is it Cobham?).

I can recommend The Rose and Crown at Thorpe Green. Excellent food in a traditional pub setting, really first class.

I'd say the Europa in East Molesey, near Hampton Court.

There is only one war, and it's not the rich against the poor, the blacks against the whites, the Federation against the Borg, or the Democrats versus the Republicans. It's those of us who aren't complete idiots against those of us who are.
