No deep-fried Mars Bar/Cream Egg thank you!

I was thinking of trying Nick Nairn's place which has a set dinner at £27, but need a couple of cheaper suggestions too.

TIA

Try the Inn on the Green, it is really nice. If you want to go further afield try the Ship Inn, Irvine - it has a superb menu and is really cheap!!

I would recommend trying the Osprey in Newton Mearns for a night out, it is well priced, quite old fashioned as in has log fires that are just wonderful.
