I've always liked these: In Gerrard St. try The Dumpling (corner Macclesfield St.). The Chicken in Yellow Bean Sauce is unique. Right next door is Lee Ho Fook, where you should try the crab and chinese sausage dish. Messy but yum. Right around the corner from the north end of Gerrard St. on Leicester Court is a little hole in the wall called (I think) The Canton. Best Won Ton Soup I ever had. I've enjoyed the dim sum at Chuen Chung Ku on Wardour St. and Poons of Lisle St. is good (NOT THE OTHER POONS, which are pretentious and expensive) Just some tips from a well-fed tourist TNT -- Marc Davidson
Do not bother - every chinese place in London I have ever been to, and those of friends of mine - are pretty dreadful if you are used to good Sechuan or Hunan or something other than just chop suey or something equally bland. It seems the chinese places in London adjusted thirty years ago to a bland english eating habits, and have never changed. Article 1485 of uk.food+drink.restaurants:
