Badgers Alfriston

I recently went to a fine teashop Badgers in Alfriston East Sussex. They are the finest scones in Sussex, and certainly better than Devon.

No clotted cream cream teas, but reasonably priced at £2:95 with a choice of 5 teas. There is a choice of veggie stuff and other local food on the special boards but the specialities are the biggest club sandwiches anywhere, but the piece de resistance is the bacon and stilton toastie.

Walk over the Seven Sisters, or down the Cuckmere Valley, or visit Charleston Manor......then go to Badgers.

It's well worth the trip.

Let me know what you think.
