Austin has decent and innovative restaurants, but I don't think you'll find a Spago clone. At Jeffrey's and 612 West, Raymond Tatum created dishes with Asian Pacific influence that one find more common on the west coast, but he has since moved on to other ventures. Most of the nouvelle American cooking one find in Austin has more Southwestern and Southern influence (as well it should, given the geography).
