San Antonio has some of the best restaurants; I grew up in Texas, and S.A. is one of my favorite places to get a good meal. Here are some of my favorites: L'Etoile - French, expensive El Mirador - Best Mexican food in San Antonio; they have great, hearty, authentic soups, and wonderful breakfasts! It's cheap, and it's definitely my favorite! La Fonda- Mexican, moderately priced; have EXCELLENT margaritas Biga - continental w/ Southwesternish touches; kind of trendy, moderate Paesano's - Italian; there is one on the Riverwalk now, too; moderate, semi-casual; if you go, have the shrimp Paesano- it's AMAZING! And there's a Ruth's Chris steakhouse there as well I've eaten at all of these places many times, and have always had great meals. Enjoy!
