I used to go to ASU and if you want steak, the best restaurant is Zentner's Daughter on Knickerbocker (by the campus). The also have another rest. I've never eaten at that particular one but I think it is on Sherwood Way. Enjoy ! It's been seven years since I last visited San Angelo, so please excuse me if the comments are at all dated (on the other hand, change comes slowly to West Texas :). It was/is something of a holy war, but the "other" good steakhouse in town -- and better, in my opinion -- was/is Twin Mountain (for those familiar with the terrain the play on words should be obvious). To this date, the best cut of meat I've *ever* had was "scraps" at Twin Mountain -- filets of tenderloin, grilled to perfection; the rest of the food was quite ordinary I also recall a casual Mexican place called Rosa's, close to the mall; I've been told by a friend of mine whose family still lives there that Rosa's was still there as of a couple of years ago. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Phil Brown | Atlanta, GA, USA [email removed] -or- [email removed] "I was drunk" is a better excuse than "I was stupid". -------------------------------------------------------------------------
