Worth. Really good. Another near Austin is actually in Lockhart. The place is called Kruez (not sure of the spelling, but I know it's pronounced like cry with a dz on the end). It's about 30-40 minutes southeast of Austin and well worth the trip. Old time BBQ place in a typical Texas town. Enjoy!
Candace G. wrote:
We are heading out from Bloomington,IN down to Austin, TX in three weeks.
Will be going over to Effingham, Il, Memphis, Litttle Rock, Dallas to Austin.
Any recomendations for really good barbecue along the way?
