Polvos on S. 1st

I just went back to Polvos on S. 1st (where the old Seis Salsas used to be) and again, it was great.

This place is real down home Mexican. The vegetarian enchiladas were filled with perfectly cooked zuchini, onions, spinach, cabbage and mushrooms and covered in an excellent chipotle sauce, and white cheese. The rice was excellent and the beans pretty good.

They have three good salsas, one is the standard red sauce (tomatoes, cilantro, onion) which was very good. The other two were a smokey pasilla based sauce (brown) and an orange sauce that I couldn't identify (though it was excellent).

My son's burrito looked really good too and he loved it. It was huge and had an very nice looking salad on the side with large slices of beautiful avacado.

Portions were very generous and the service was very friendly. Even with so many Mexican choices, I'd definitely recommend this one.
