I don't know which was more amusing - her description of the taco salad (a large fried tortilla filled with lettuce and "some more stuff"), or her response to our question about how good is the sangria (pretty good - it's like a margarita with some wine added!) What we disliked the most was the fact that the 6th street Ninfas has dropped the more extensive menu and has receded back to what I believe is the same as the Ninfas that's up north. Gone are the mole dishes. Gone are most of the chicken dishes. Gone are the quail, the portobello mushroom kabobs. No reason to go there now, except maybe the green sauce. Oh yeah - the food we did order was ok. Nothing to come back for. The sangria was nothing like a margarita with wine added (thank goodness). We at least tried to finish with a bang with sopapillas. To our waitrons credit, she came back about 10 minutes after taking our order to tell us that they had run out of honey and perhaps we would like to cancel that order. 8-( DrRuth
