ended up at Manga's (43rd/Duval) last night "by accident" and it turned out a pleasant enough experience (given the comments here in the past, which were rather mixed).

the Potstickers were tasty but what we really liked was the smoked duck, plenty enough to share between two. the California roll, well, it wasn't my idea to try that -- it's hard to get exited about that in any case... the Live Oak pilsner, on tap, was fresh, the Vietnamese coffee, though not freshly brewed, passed the taste test, as did the iced Hibiscus tea.

It was a bit confusing to see a menu with a mix of Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese and Japanese dishes, especially when there was not an Asian face to be seen anywhere, customers or cooks...

and staff outnumbered customers, while Eastside Cafe, Hyde Park Grill and Mothers all seemed at capacity (on a Monday night ?!?)
