Had the itch so stopped in for lunch.

Lunch sushi special for 5.95

6 pc Cali roll ...decent

1 smoked salmon hand roll...really good, it was my first hand roll

2 pc Nigiri.. one was salmon...decent..seemed very fresh
other was eel...awesome...really sweet and succulent

also came with some run of the mill egg drop soup (Y not miso???) but i could have had hot and sour.

verdict: not bad..if i am in the neighborhood (Southbound I 35...near 38th), i will try it again, but if i have time, I will make the drive to shogun...i think their lunch is 8.95 w/ no handroll or soup but more nigiri...I think it was tuna, shrimp, crab, salmon, snapper, halibut.maybe a couple more plus 6 pc cali roll..

My experience at Jade was much less positive.

The sushi was bland and didn't seem fresh, the soup was lousy. It's just a= s bad as the chinese food there has always been.
