I am going to eat Barbeque this Saturday at 6pm, and I'm inviting anybody from H.E. to join me.

6pm because I intend to take in a play afterwards, (but I haven't decided which.)  My kiddo is off visiting his mom for the weekend.  My drinking & philosophizing buddy from Austin, who was going to visit me this weekend, has postponed his trip.  So I'm at loose ends.

I chose C David because
  I haven't been before.
  I've heard good word of mouth.
  It's in a promising part of town.
  It's close enough to Telephone Rd that Jeremy can bring a date.
  They serve beer.
  It's got to be better than Otto's was.

For those who haven't seen me before - I'm 43, white, with curly medium-length red hair, 5'10", 190#s.

I used to work just around the corner for 10 years and have eaten at Davis's many times. I'm glad to see they are still open. The atmosphere is a bit dour. I always got mine to go. I wonder if they ever installed air conditioning? Maybe a tailgate party there would be better.

He looks like the little boy from "The Family Affair" all grown up. :) With that red hair and light complexion you will have no problem being noticed in that neighborhood.
