We go to the Guadalupe half-price : books a lot and I always catch that place out of the corner of my eye on : our way back south. How is it? Well, I don't know how *authentic* <wry grin> it is, but I've always found the food there very tasty. The souvlakis and gyros both come in a thick spongy-tortilla-like bread, with mounds of meat and a cool smooth cucumber(?) sauce flavored with a bit of paprika, if I'm guessing correctly. And the pizza is quite good. I favor the Milto's Combo (mostly because I'm a combo-pizza kind of guy) on thin crust, but the thick crusted ones are excellent as well. I would suggest an outing there rather than rely on my scanty review, though. ****** Clay Colwell (aka StealthSmurf) ********** [email removed] ****** * "In the future, we will recognize software crashes as technologically * * mandated ergonomic rest breaks - and we will pay extra for them." * * -- Crazy Uncle Joe Hannibal *
