So what? Sorry, Eric, but I think people mean *real* food, not amazingly inconsistent neo-hippy diner fare. For that, I prefer Star Seed. Most people already know about Magnolia/Kerbey Lane. Manga is open until midnight most nights at 43rd and Duval. Whether it qualifies as real food is highly debatable. But it's better than anything else I can walk to late at night. Cheers, Dusty

One of the best things about Houston is the late night food options. There= 's a great Vietnamese place in Viet Nam town area called Mai's that serves = virtually all night. A great diverse crowd, too. I remember being there w= ith young vietnamese couples on dates and a table of about 8 guys in drag o= n roller blades. There's also La Jalascience (sp/) on Montrose and Spanish Flowers and some = other cool neighborhood place in the Heights that are open all night. =0A So you see, the Bayou city does have some redeeming qualities. -- Capitol Macintosh, Austin's Mac User Group -- TCP Port 3000: online.capmac.org -- or by modem +1.512.288.0992 (4 lines)
