In San Antonio you have to go to Mi Tierra for Mexican food (b'fast, lunch and dinner)  The riverwalk has a bunch of places but none that I remeber as really outstanding. Austin Chuy's is a good standby for Mexican. 6th street is good for nightlife.  Try Liberty Lunch.
