Oh well, I gave the place more than one chance. If you want to check >preppy land then go there on Friday night. It is a good show. Which Baby A's did you go to? I frequent the one on Riverside and have never run into the types of people you describe. I'm a struggling college student, paying her way through college and I find their prices and portions to be more than adequate. I can make three meals out of their fajitas for one!!! And for less than $10 I think thats quite a deal. Perhaps the newer restaurant off of the interstate is more like you've described...I haven't been to that location. But if you have only tried one of their locations, I suggest you try another...even chain restaurants vary some. Baby Acapulco's SUX.
The one on IH35 does INDEED suck! Riverside location is fine...great chicken base soup, fine fajita nachos, cold beer and a-ok margaritas. BUT SKIP THE IH35 LOCATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
