Anyone been to La Vista or Simposio in Houston?

I've been to La Vista once for lunch and really enjoyed my meal.  It's a little hole in the wall in a strip center (next to the Rice Epicurean on Fountainview).  Definitely not fancy, quite casual, and quite small (the tables are close together).

I had pizza and a house salad and enjoyed both very much.  My friend had, IIRC, a meatball sandwich which he said was very good.

It's the sort of place that you can very comfortably wear shorts and a T-shirt and not feel underdressed.

I'll leave any comments about Simposio to others who have actually eaten there.

Have not been to La Vista, but Simposio is great. Very creative food, knowledgeable waiters, attentive staff.
