Check out the Vintage Villas on Lake Travis. The rooms are spectacular, as well as the view. You will be shocked at how relatively inexpensive it is, too. They have three different sized rooms - I would go for the mid-sized or a suite. No two rooms are identicle and they are all uniquely "southwestern." I don't know if that's good or bad, but these rooms are really nice.

The food there is really good, too. You also get a free gourmet breakfast each morning. However, because you are near the lake, I would go check out some of the better restaurants in the area for dinner, as opposed to eating at the Villas.

Now that I've written way too much, check it out at http://www.bbonline.com/tx/vintagevillas/index.html#top
