Next time you're in Memphis try Corky's, Gridley's or Willingham's.

Been there, done that, and --- as phrased by a comely country-singing vixen --- they don't impress me much.

Try A&R Barbecue in south Memphis, best I've had in the city.

Speaking of Memphis, I had 3 slab of ribs shipped to me from Corky's for $90.00. They were horrid! They tasted like they had been parboiled and had never been close to a smoke source. The sauce was about as bland as lightly seasoned Campbell's tomato soup. Is this what passes for BBQ down there? Even the native Seattleites knew that it sucked.
