Good Barbecue in Memphis TN?

If you don't mind some atmoshpere with your BBQ, head to Charlie Vergos' Rendezvous in downtown Memphis (off General Washburn's Escape Alley - 52 South 2nd Street). They serve their ribs "dry" as opposed to wet, which means they use a rub on the ribs.

For some of the best southern fried chicken and peach cobbler you'll ever find, head to the Four Way Grill at the corner of Mississippi Blvd and Walker. Not much on atmosphere, but way up there down-home wise.

Breakfast: Country Ham and Biscuits at Ferguson's Cafe.

Enjoy

Rendesvous is across the street from the Peabody hotel. It has the best barbecue (dry) I have ever eaten anywhere!

Rendevous is very good, they serve dry ribs. Corky's is the best for wet ribs.
