I have been to Izakaya Sankyu a few times. I liked the place, because it's different from other Japanese restaurants. It's not really a family-style place, though. It's more like a Japanese-style pub, where you go to mainly drink ("Izakaya" means "a place to drink alcohol). So, the quality of food is not a main concern at this type of place. As long as they have a good variety and serve small amount at a cheap price, customers are happy. I haven't tried their sushi, but from my experience of their sashimi, I doubt that it's very good. I mean, it's probably acceptable, but I won't go there to eat sushi.
