Mallorca's on the southside is a fabulous place to eat. The service is unparalleled and the food is excellent with generous portions. Let me know if you agree.

Also try Amel's in the south hills for Great middle-eastern food and for the brave at heart Sushi Kim's on Penn Avenue downtown has the best Sushi I have ever eaten (and I have everywhere including Japan) as well as wonderful Korean food!

Enjoy

The service is quite nice at Mallorca's. However, back last fall, my aunt and
I were both served shrimp that was way overdone. I've been back subsequently,
but I've been reluctant to try the shrimp again to find out if my
 experience was unusual or not.

Amel's has a fairly interesting menu. Amel sold the restaurant to a family
who maintains some of the traditional middle-eastern food, but who has also
expanded into other areas as well. I think there's a fairly strong Italian
emphasis, as well as some California (they advertise some of their meals
 as being heart-healthy).
