I would strongly recommend the Bluepoint restaurant 99 North Main St, phone number (401) 272-6145. Fantastic, and always interestingly prepared seafood. Wine Spectator award-winning wine list. It is the best seafood I have ever had. The restaurant is casual, but not inexpensive. I don't think they take reservations. At least go for oysters.

Federal Hill (the Atwells Ave. area) has many fine restaurants. Try Trattoria Antuono for great calamari and peppers and veal chops. L'Epicurea has recently reopened, and I'm told it's really great. Camille's and The Old Canteen are other places that I've had good meals at. The Federal Hill area is analogous to Boston's North End - exceptional authentic Italian food! For dessert, try La Dolce Vita in the nearby pedestrian mall. Enjoy!

I strongly reccomend L'Epicurea on Federal Hill - on Atwells. I was there for the opening as the Head Chef is a good friend. They are not opened on Monday and I think they are also closed on Sunday.

If you go in there as for the Head Chef - his name is Nihant (pronounced "Niat"). He has trained all over. Tell him Stuart from Boston sent you.
