 The Best Wings in Town......

 Muffy's off Carson.

Always good. Always Hot. Always Big. *Always 15 cents* (just went up from
10 cents last week). The place isn't the greatest atmosphere, but they don't
rob you like FatHead's does. They also have 10 cent peel & eat shrimp and
25 cent pizza slices. Muffy's is near the corner of S. 21st. and Sarah--
 one block off Carson.

Actually I just tried a new place this past week for wings. Ryan's Pub
on Braddock actually has some pretty good wings. They're nice and big,
properly cooked (kinda crisp), and pretty cheap. They are willing to mix
the sauces they offer to order. I didn't get a good appreciate for how
hot their wings go, but I imagine I'll learn that in later sessions.
They serve the full wing, and a dozen are something like $5.75.

The last time I went to Buffalo Blues, I found their wings to be anemic, and
  their sauces uninspiring.

No doubt the best wings (Buffalo Style) I've tasted are at Med Mex- Oakland.
Crispy, meaty wings with a tangy sauce. They go very well with the frozen
  margarita's.

Happy Hour every day 4-6pm:: 1/2 price drinks and 10c wings.
 You can't beat it.

Well, just about any place in Pittsburgh will be able to serve you
standard buffalo wings. All pale in comparison to the genesis of
buffalo wings (the Anchor Bar, in Buffalo, New York), but a few come
 fairly close.

If you're looking for places which serve not just buffalo wings, but
wings with other interesting sauces, here are a few good places:

     Buffalo Blues
     Fat Head's South Shore Saloon
     Kangaroo's Outback Cafe
     Quaker Steak and Lube

Places that have less variety in sauces, but are still fairly good,
 are:

     Fuel & Fuddle
     Mad Mex

Some places to avoid (for one reason or another) are:

     Aussie's
     Buffalo's Cafe
     Damon's
     Hooter's
     Hotlicks
     Wings, Suds, and Spuds

 All IMO, of course.
