We tried their dinner special last week, and it's good value for money! They offer
a choice of about 6 appetizers and 8 entrees, and 3 desserts.

We both started with the antipasto salad -- beautiful fresh spring greens with
slices of very good sorpressata and pepperoni, crumbled gorgonzola. My only beef
with it was what seemed rather run-of-mill Spanish olives which seemed out of place.

I had the crabmeat and porcini mushroom au gratin. Very tasty, could have been
slightly more moist. My other half had the stuffed sole and was happy with it.
Entrees are served with nicely grilled zucchini and yellow squash slices and grilled
 red potatoes.

Dessert -- I detest spumoni, so I opted for strawberries in cream, quite good for
February. The raspberry sorbet was also pleasant. Generous servings of both.

It was a nice introduction to the restaurant. We will probably go back soon to try
the items on the regular menu that sounded tempting. For comparison's sake, their
entrees were priced a bit lower than Pasta Piatto.

Lovely decor. Service a bit irritating but efficient. We had the place to
ourselves at 5:45 but by 6:15 it was full up.
