FYI, the one in Oakland (Craig and Forbes) has been Kiva Han for some
time. I *do* drink coffee, and what they have there is some of the better
stuff I've found in town (unlike Tuscany). This is not saying a very
great deal, IMHO, but the options are getting better all the time. Most
important, their coffee is usually fresh (which for me means less than 20
 minutes old).

They also have a small selection of foods both sweet and not, and they
have a very nice deal: refills are only 86c (and environmentally sound!)
and after 10 drinks, you get a free one.
