As the other posts indicate, it is a Stouffer restaurant, and yes, very pricy. As for the food....mediocre at best. I used to eat there when I worked in the USX tower. Atmosphere, atmosphere, atmophere....but the food is ....eh (shrugs shoulders). cindyk
A while ago I asked about the restaurant on top of the USX building. Several folks wrote (some personally) and said that it's called Top of the Triangle, is run by Stouffers, has (as I remembered) a fine view, and is fairly expensive. The impression I got is that the food is good, but no one suggested it justifies its cost. Thanks to all who replied. I think we'll try another place. Art Evans

Top Of The Triangle is NO LONGER a Stouffer's restaurant. It is a "privately owned" restaurant. The owners/staff are trying hard to change the formerly "mediocre" image. They have changed the menu and gone away from the Stouffer's fare. Haven't been there recently, but plan on taking out of town guests there. (I got my info from a staff worker while waiting on the T.) As for price, I figure if I get out under $100 (including wine, etc.) it's reasonable, especially if the food and service is good.
