Just a note to pass along. My husband and I ate at the new Super China Buffet on McKnight Road by North Hills Village. It is where Best Buy is. The food was very good and suprisingly not yucky looking from sitting on the steam table too long. For the money, it is probably one of the best Chinese buffets in Pittsburgh. There was a huge variety and they also serve dim sum for those of you who have a passion for it. If anyone else has eaten there, let's hear from you. Thanks.

Super China Buffet
Totally agree. I've been there twice and I think it definitely ranks as the best Chinese buffet in Pittsburgh. The selection there is so varied that it is difficult to describe, but they have a wide variety of traditional Chinese dishes along with the Dim Sum, steamed crablegs (mmmm), steamed shrimp, cold salads, various tasty fish dishes, and even some oddly tossed in Italian dishes like pasta and Pizza (perhaps for the kids). Also some decent sushi AND they have a do-it-yourself grill where you choose from a wide variety of meats and veggies and sauces and a cook stir-frys it on a grill. Then -- if you can still get up from your seat after that, they have a pretty decent selection of traditional Chinese deserts and a soft ice-cream machine. The whole thing runs around $12. Though if I keep going there they may have to raise the price (-: Not much in the atmosphere category (as is usually the case with these large buffets), but not bad, and the service is quite efficient (also usually the case). It is really hard to see from the road. I accidentally passed it both times I went there. The key is to enter through Best Buy. Dan Barbara B. wrote: > Just a note to pass along.
