For an all-you-can-eat brunch, with excellent atmosphere and food try the Little Inn in Media. It's still my favorite. Get out of the city once in a while.

Brunch from 10am - 2pm. Give them a call.

$14 per person. Enjoy!

The White Dog Sunday averages are actually between $7-10. (Yahoo big difference!)

But I'd say give them a go again as the menu has begun more seasonal changes or even stop by La Terrasse. The University of Penn has really stepped up improving the area immediately surrounding Sansom St. and in a couple of months I can't wait to see what it looks like!

Okay I got sidetracked. I'm going to shut up now and drink my coffee.

Hi

We've been very pleased with the Bards, at 20th & Walnut. Their food is very good, reasonably priced, and the atmosphere is low key.

Best of luck.

Hillary -

If it was enormous it was probably a water bug and not a roach - equally as gross, maybe grosser than a roach.

The thing is, there is not an old building and probably not a new building in Center City that is without roaches.

No restaurant wants them. They all spray to get rid of them. Problem is the spray just relocates them to the building next door, for a while, then that person sprays and they return to their initial location.

As to laid back Sunday brunches - my favorite and regular weekend brunch spot is Carman's Country Kitchen, 11th and Wharton. And while all sorts of amazing and unexpected events tend to occur there, I've never encountered any roaches or similar critters.
