Sarah's - just off Carson on 10th street - no longer exists.

Now it's Abruzzi's, and I highly recommend it.
The atmosphere is somewhere in the realm of nice, comfortable and romantic.
The owners are there every time we go, so we always feel that someone is
looking out to make sure we enjoy ourselves.
We have enjoyed everything we've ever eaten there, and were particularly
impressed with the pasta sauce featuring tomato sauce, cream and vodka.
We also liked the fact that they serve garlic and olive oil with their
 bread, instead of butter.
Vegetarian dishes are certainly there for the asking - pasta can be
served any style, and there were seafood selections for "seafood only"
 vegetarians.
For those of you who like spicy food, the pasta diablo was exquisite,
and not for the faint of heart. But non-spicy dishes are plentiful.
The service on our first 2 visits was perfect - efficient, yet
unobtrusive. The 3rd time, however, we had someone named Neil who
apparently felt that a party of 2 was not worth his trouble. We
complained to the owner before we left, and she was deeply apologetic
and promised to speak to him immediately.
Entrees tend to be in the $10 - $15 range, and the portions are generous.
Abruzzi's is one of the few restaurants that takes reservations for as
few as 2 people, but even when we didn't have reservations we have never
waited - even at 7pm on a Saturday night.
There is a no-smoking section available.
Attire is semi-casual to semi-formal. I wouldn't dress too far down, or
 too far up.
