You can sit outside but you won't see any trains from there. The beer is very good, and reasonably priced for a brewpub. We have always found the food to be "better than OK" to "pretty good". Portions tend to be, IMHO, small - I always wonder what people could possibly have ordered when I see them leave with a container! - and the prices are a bit high for a brewpub.
