I don't frequent the west corridor much, but a couple of years ago I had lunch several times at Piccolo Mondo. I was really pleasantly surprised; the food was delicious, the atmosphere was nice, the service was attentive, and as far as I can remember, the lunch prices at least were reasonable. It's in Foster Plaza, not necessarily the first place I'd look for a good restaurant, but I imagine they cater to a business clientele. Of course, I can't vouch for their more recent performance. recommendations?
I concurr and was going to suggest the same place. Gryphon at the Stone Mansion is very nice indeed. There's also a nice place in the office park off of Thorn Run Extension, but I can't remember the name right now. It's in the Entertainment Book... I'll try to remember to check there for the name and post it later if someone else doesn't come up with it in the mean time. -- Ray Dawson On Thu, 23 Apr 1998, P. If you're looking for reasonable prices and "don't want to spend a fortune", then the Hyehold is definitely out. I called there recently to inquire about their establishment and was told that the average couple spends about $175 on dinner with drinks and dessert. At those prices, I can confidently pronounce this place as being not for the budget conscious.
I found the info. on the place I was referring to: Clarks Restaurant Airport Office Park Coraopolis, PA 15108-0333 412-269-9100 Like I said before, it's in Moon Twp. off of Thorn Run Extension near the Motel Six and across from One Thorn Run Center, and it's in the Entertainment Book. -- Ray Dawson On Thu, 23 Apr 1998, Ray D. wrote: > I concurr and was going to suggest the same place.
