We've eaten at Portabello's twice, although both times were at least a year ago. I highly recommend it... It's not a huge place, so you might want to see if you can make a reservation, particularly if you plan to go on a weekend night. If you go, make sure to order the stuffed portobello appetizer; they bring a basket of giant mushrooms to your table and allow you to select the one you'd like to have stuffed. I think you have a choice of either veggie stuffing or crab stuffing. The crab is excellent. As for entrees, I recommend the portobello ravioli. It's one of the more expensive items, but well worth it. The ravioli is stuffed with chopped portobello and it's served in a very light cream sauce with scallions. It's truly the best pasta dish I've ever had. My husband has had various other entrees, but in my opinion, none were as good as the ravioli. Of course, you have to take into consideration that I don't like most Italian food to begin with, so I'm slightly biased :-) Portabello now has a liquor license, too. Hope this helps, -Jennifer

A little bit spicy for those who are not into spicy foods, but I love it. > As for entrees, I recommend the portobello ravioli. It's one of > the more expensive items, but well worth it. Also, the Aglio e Olio (gralic & oil) pasta is great! > Portabello now has a liquor license, too. Unfortunately, since we loved bringing our own wine, and their wine list really sucked the one time we've gone since they got their license. On the positive side, they are truly a family-run place, and it's nice to have dad come out and ask if everythings OK. Christine Christine Berliner [email removed]
