Mineo's, for instance, lets you bring in a six pack if you want (which you can pick up across the street at Rhoda's), though the atmosephere is non-existent. At Il Pizzeola in Mt. Lebanon, which has a beautiful coutyard to eat in, they are happy to let you bring in your own wine, which saves you a minimum of about 10 dollars. Even if a restaurant charges a corkage fee, you usually still come out ahead. ralph

Pittsburgh Pizza
Where are your friends located? I think that the best pizza, by far, is located in the North Hills on Babcock Boulevard toward North Park. I'ts called "Luciano's". They have 2 or 3 locations that I'm aware of. One is in White Oak, and the other is in the North Hills. The 3rd one might be in the south hills, but don't hold me to it. TO get to the north hills location, Go out 579, and take the mcnight road exit and go all the way out mcnight until you get to the light after the Dicks Sporting Goods. It's a 4-way and there is a shopping complex called McIntyre Square up on the hill on the right hand side. At this intersection, you want to turn right onto Babcock and go approximately 3 or 4 traffic lights. It's on the left side as you come down the long hill (which is about 1 or 2 miles at the most.) If you're familiar with or have ever been to North Park lounge, it's about a 4 minute drive from NPL, and approximately 10 minutes from Ross Park Mall. They do deliver, but within a specific radius of their establishment. And, don't believe a word about Vincent's being the best pizza around. If you're into greasy pizza, then go for it, but if you're more interested in a non-gummy decent crust with a good sauce, well then, even domino's is better than vince's pizza. And, that's my two cents. Happy Pizza Hunting! Beth
