I would prefer the King of Prussia area and then outlying areas : I would like info on Steak Hosues, Seafood, and also nice expensive places. The only place that I go to in King of Prussia is Kobe's (Japanese Teppanyaki tables) at the Hilton - if you like that type of food, it's a great place (we do, especially when dining with our 3 kids!). There is a new brew-pub type place on 202S in the Gateway Shopping Center that is supposed to be pretty good, tho I haven't been there (I don't drink beer! ;-) ) Otherwise, one recommendation you can't go wrong with is to get on the Expressway, head to Manyunk and try a few places - Kansas City Prime is a great steakhouse (very expensive), BLT's Cobblefish wonderful (byob) for creative seafood. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Audrey Marsh "when the going gets weird, [email removed] the weird turn pro..." In the King of Prussia Plaza try the California Cafe. It's not inexpensive, but it won't break the bank either. The presentation is lovely, service good, food tasty, menu eclectic, and the wine list is better than many. There's also a very nice bar there. Carole P.S. I agree with the person who suggested you drive down the expressway a bit, get off at the Belmont Avenue exit, turn left over the bridge, & right at Main Street to sample any of the many terrific restaurants in Manyunk. Sonoma, Jakes (fairly expensive), Volare, Grasshopper, Le Bus (inexpensive), Bella Trattoria (inexpensive), BLTS Cobblefish (my favorite) on Shurrs Lane. For fun, try out the Manyunk Farmers' Market on a Sunday for sampling from various stands at brunch time.
In King of Prussia Plaza, California Cafe Bertolini's Jade Garden (for the sushi) In Valley Forge Shipping Center, Michael's - a very good Jewish deli Mike Kranzdorf [email removed] Kranzco Realty Trust http://www.krt.com Oracle Power Objects FAQ http://www.krt.com/mac/opofaq.html
