There's a new restaurant/club in.. Mt. Lebanon or Bridgeville (?), where
"Walt's Tavern" used to be, on Painter's Run Road. It's called Painter's
Run. I'm wondering if anyone has been there yet, I think it's been open
for several weeks. They have food, and live music. Thinking of trying it
 this weekend.

Also, a new place opened in the south hills Galleria, where Hotlicks used
to be, called Segnieri's. It is Italian, and has live jazz. We had drinks
there, but the menu looked pretty pricey (like $23 for manicotti). It
could be the food is great, or the servings huge, lotsa sides, whatever.
The band was spectacular (Bobby Negri on piano, David Pellow on bass,
Billy Kuhn on drums and (aaargh! can't remember!) on trumpet. The next
night they were going to have Sandy Staley singing. I could go hang out
there after dinnertime, but it may be a while before I lay out $$$$$ for
the basic (or should I say, classic) italian menu. If anyone decides to
go for it, I'd be interested in a review.

Was there a few weeks ago on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. Had a steak
salad and the steak was a very good grade of beef.

 Try it.

ive been to both. Painters run is ok, congested inside. food was ok, but
nothing great for the money we were spending. i thin for the 2 of us it
cost $65 with no wine, 1 dessert and 1 app, As for segneris its
basically just high priced spaghetti.. they give you a xchoice of noodle
with like 8 different sauces.. Thin it was $45 although i didnt pay
