Personally, I think their prime rib is some of the best in the City.
Everything else, however, it "Eat at your own risk." I've gotten sick
 twice after eating anything else....

I feel the same. The bar is OK. The food is sad.

I'd have to disagree that "the bar is great," as well as their claims
 to customer service.

The last (and only) time I was at Dingbats was with a large party
of friends. For some god-knows-why reason, I ordered a Daquiri.
It arrived, and had nearly no alcohol at all; as near as I (or any of
the people at my table) could tell, it had none. I pointed this out to
the waitress, and asked if she could bring it to the bartender to
 get it fortified a bit.

I got a flat refusal, and then an argument. See, they wouldn't make
my drink stronger because they were "a family restaurant." Now, mind,
you: I hadn't been drinking, this was my first and only drink, but
because I actually want some RUM in my drink, I'm some sort of weirdo.

The staff were downright rude, and I was simply amazed at their unwillingness
 to even discuss the issue.

Needless to say, I haven't returned since, and I recommend to my friends
that they avoid the place when my opinion is asked. I can be treated
rudely just by talking to weirdos on the 'net: I don't need to pay
for the privilege at a restaurant.
