My Favorite Italian: Papa J's

Just want to put in my 2 cents for those who think Pgh has crappy
food. I'm sure the selection is not as great as other bigger cities,
but we do have plenty of good food, for example Papa J's. Not only my
favorite Italian restaurant here, but my favorite restaurant, period.

Let me first admit that I am an Italian food snob, Mom and Pop's
italian food does nothing for me. Unfortunately, many of the Italian
restaurants around here serve no more than good ol' Spaghetti and
Meatballs and other American-Italian favorites. Personally, I like my
Italian to have a little more imagination. Papa J's is excellent.
Great variety, great taste, great price, great atmosphere, good
service, get the point? There are 2 locations, one in Carnegie and
one in Mt. Lebanon. I like the one in Carnegie only slightly better.
Be sure to make reservations on weekends.

I've been meaning to get to Primadonna's, which has won awards for
best Italian food in the 'Burgh. Also, they're in the Entertainment
book and Papa J's is not. Can anyone give a comparison of
 Primadonna's and Papa J's?
