I think you're referring to Shish Mahal which used
to be in the Sunrise Motel across from Miracle Mile.
It is gone. And just as well because their food
quality was very poor toward the end due to a change
in chefs. The location was taken over by Darbar.
I've never cared for them. But the *good* news is
that India Garden now has a second location in the
little shopping center just east of Holiday Center
(where PharMor and Sun TV are). But they are Northern
Indian, not Southern. If you want South Indian the
place to go is Udipi Cafe on Old Wm. Penn Highway.

I've only eaten there once and I wasn't impressed. My dosa was very
greasy, and something in the sambar also caused my tounge to swell up for
the next several hours. I've been much more fond of Sree's foods, on Main
 St. in Sharpsburg.
