You're in luck. The best Mexican restaurant within an hour's drive
(or more) is in Pleasant Hills. The Fajita Grill is on Old Clairton
Road, across from the Red Bull Inn. Sorry I can't give better
directions than that, but I'm not completely sure how you'd get there
 from Carnegie. Incidentally, it's BYOB.

Try Santa Fe - it's a little past South Hills Village, right off of
Route 19 (you can call them for better directions). It's not FANTASTIC,
but it's better than Chi Chi's.

To get there from carnegie, your best bet would be to get on
the parkway inbound. Exit at RT51, headed south, towards
uniontown. Stay on 51 for about, 8 miles or so, past century
3 mall. At the intersection with Bruceton road (might be E. Bruceton)
make a right. At this intersection there is a BP station, an Exxon,
you'll see a Kmart plaza. Anyways, make this right, stay
on E. Bruceton until you getto Old Clairton road. make a left,
teh Fajita Grill will be about 1 mile on your right

Of course, if i were going for good mexican in the south hills,
I'd go to Jose and Tony's in Mt. Lebanon. I dont know the name
of the road it is on tho...any help??

 Peace
 Chris

An easier way to get to Fajita Grill is to exit 51 just past the
Cloverleaf on Old Clairton Road. Just as you pass over Lebanon Church
Road, there is a traffic light with a U-Haul on the left. Make a right up
the hill past DeStafeno's drug store and just stay on that road until
reaching the Fajita Grill (it will be on your right, maybe two miles down
 the road)

Jose and Tony's is on McFarland. You can either turn down McFarland
from West Liberty Avenue or come up Banksville Road and bear left at the
light where the old Rolliers hardware was (now a Boston Chicken).

 Chris,
Sorry to correct you, but you don't go past Century
III Mall. Just past the cloverleaf on 51 (where it passes over
Lebanon Church Rd.) is a traffic light. Turn right at this light
onto Old Clairton Rd. (You will see Bill Green's Shopping Center
on your right as you get to the light.) If you see Century III you
have gone too far. You were correct that it's about 8 miles from
the Parkway West, although I would say maybe more like 7.5 miles.
