Yes. I can think and have listed in other posts whats missing.

Nothing wrong with local rest. etc., but I don't have the time in many cases for
sit down. Pick up and get home and/or back to work. Lack of decent italian bread
and kaiser rolls outside Pgh. is a problem.

I miss Sgro's which is now some rehab place. AGGGGGGGG! The deserts!

Red Bulls, what theres 1 ! ! ! Left, the "steak house" by the airport. While the
ex Red Bull now Curringas Inn in Washington serves many of the same things,
thankfully. Lobster Pot & Steak, and Lobster bisque! Theres not a bad thing on
 the menu.

Some other GREAT locals are The Main in Carnegie, and theres this little italian
place on the way into Carnegie off I79 whose name escapes me. The Blue Flame and
the Hilltop in Large on SR51.

Orange Julius, they all disappeared in Pgh. I resorted to going to Morgantown
to get them and making a some what similar drink at home via the Produce
 Partners Orange Frost packets.

While not chinese, you want BBQ, then you your missing out on Sonnys BBQ, pork,
beef, or chix. Right now they have all you can eat Pork BBQ with fries, Texas
Toast Garlic Bread, Cole Slaw for $7.00. MMMMMMMMM!

Unless they finally remodeled the Benihanna Greentree (which as was something
else) it was a dump last I was in it 2 years ago.

 Some other examples:

Hungry Howies Pizza - takeout or all you can eat buffet $4.00!

CiCi's Pizza - similar to the above.

Pizza Outlet is a much better choice over Pizza Hut any day, but the above 2
wipe it away. Now if only the Pizza Works was still around in Mitchells Corners
in Upper St. Clair. If you didn't like greasy pizza then you should just pass.

Sizzler, Ryans Steakhouse, Quincys don't compare to the few Golden Corrals.

Now something that is missing in many areas a Strip District like area, NYC etc
have similar areas, but many other cities don't.

The Strip is a sorely missed area when your trying to get any thing from food to
 general merchandise.

Food ain't the only thing Pgh. has been behind on, until recently Target was not
in the area, now they have 6 stores.

There used to be a wonderful Mongolian BBQ in Wexford. I think it closed
 around '92 ish.

Up on McKnight there is an Oriental Buffet that has an 'almost' Mongolian
BBQ. The variety isn't there, but the concept is. I think it's Super Chinese
Buffet, but the names all run together in my brain. It's right near the Best
Buy. IMO, their buffet is the best in the Burgh, they have a few dim sum
offerings as well! (Including my favorite, steamed pork buns)

 Give them a try!

Actually there is another one of these now in Cranberry in the Cranberry mall
(lower level) near the theater. There's a Mongolian BBQ section in the back
that is pretty good, though of course it doesn't have quite the variety of a
dedicated Mongolian BBQ. It's also the only Chinese buffet I've found with
sweet bean balls (mmm...). I like the Cranberry one better than the one on
 McKnight.
