Wooden Angel in Beaver is famous for their rack of lamb. It is excellent, but a bit on the small side. I personally steer towards their Chilean bass or other seafood dishes. Best service in 100 miles, no lie. Worth dressing up AND the big check. They have a web page... http://www.beavercounty.net/woodenangel/

I was at the Wooden Angel once for a private party (about 10 years ago),
and it was incredible. Thus, I returned this January for my birthday,
having made reservations well in advance. Well, we had to wait over 1/2
hour, and the host was completely unapologetic - not even, "I'm sorry,
we're a little backed up." Just "Go over there and wait...." along with
the folks waiting to get into the bistro area.

Service was crazed, we had two different waitresses approach us for our
order, our bread came about 25 minutes after we were served our drinks,
and then our salads and dinners came within a few minutes of each other.

I had been anticipating this for a long time, both in the abstract
(someday we'll go back there) and in the concrete (we have reservations
 for MY birthday).
I was sorely disappointed. The food was OK, but not great. The wine
selection was excellent, and fun to read, so we comforted ourselves with
that, but it surely did not make up for the disaapointment, and I'll
 likely not go back.

 Sadly,
 Christine
