Japanese-good and the bad.

Someone earlier mentioned that Kabuki near Churchill had good
Japanese food. We tried it and the food was very good. The first time
eating there there was 2 of us and we each ordered a meal, and it
came to about $32. We thought it was worth it. An older couple owned
the restaurant. We gave a $5 tip for a $28 dollar meal. Anyway, the 2nd
time we went, I happened to be on a diet and I had planned on only
 eating a salad
miso soup and a side dish of tofu and my friend had tempura. The point
is the lady had a fit and said she didn't know if they could do that.
 Have
only one meal ordered. The tempura was 12.50 for my friend, my side
salad was 3.50, my soup 1.00, and my tofu - 3.00.(mine coming to 7.50
for nothing) That is a easy $20 meal, she said she had to ask the cook,
her husband. Anyway she came back and said this is the only time she
can do that. So I asked why do we spend money and you can't serve us
because we do not spend enough. It is just ridiculous.
We should've walked out at that point but we didn't and she came back
with a salad, and soup, which she threw hard on the table. It was the
rudest thing I had ever seen in my life. AFter that the following
dishes she threw on the table, never filled our tea, and didn't even
give dessert, which was supposed to come with the meal. She didn't say
one word to us. At the end we said, it's really too bad that she had
to treat us that way, we eat out almost 5 out of the 7 days, and mostly
Japanese food, she told us to leave and not ever come back. It was an
 unbelievable experience.

Sushi Too on walnut I would recommend. We eat there 2-3 times a week,
at times we order alot, and at times I go on my diet and we share
things, they are always kind, if we order $5 worth or $45 they still
treat us like customers. There food is pretty good too. So for those
Japanese food eaters out there, if you care about how people treat you
in a restaurant, I'd avoid Kabuki.

THE POINT IS AVOID KABUKI if you ever want to share something with
someone else, cause they won't like it and treat you like shit even
 though you spend
 $25 bucks.
