Hotlicks in the Galleria

1 post · Nov 3, 1997

Philip M.Homenet account, Carnegie Mellon, Pittsburgh, PANov 3, 1997
The Hotlicks in Galleria is now a franchise, owned by the same company
that provides the food service for the airlines at Pgh Int'l Airport. So
 they specialize in airplane food.
I think, not sure though, that there is a Hotlicks at the airport that
they also run. The food at the Galleria one is AWFUL, and if it is
franchise, one wonders why the original owners don't have some sort of
quality control over the process -- after all -- it is their name and
 reputation on the line.

BTW, rumor has it that the Balcony and Hotlicks in Shadyside are closing
bec. the building owners want to rent the place for a Pottery Barn. No
word on if they may be open elswhere in Shadyside or some other place.
