Smoketown, a few miles east of Lancaster, on a north/south road (don't remember the route #) between route 310 and US 30. There are plenty of signs for it along route 310. It's also listed and has an ad in the AAA PA Tourbook. It's family-style service. They seat 12 people together at a table and bring huge platters and bowls of food. It's all plain, homestyle cooking. You usually get 3 meats, assorted veggies, mashed potatoes and gravy, buttered noodles, homemade bread, all sorts of pickles, applesauce, applebutter, etc. And then for dessert you get jello, some sort of pudding, 2 kinds of pie and ice cream. It's all you can eat and it's really good. They always serve shoo-fly pie and I think theirs is the best around. You have to try it.

There's another similar place called Plain and Fancy further down 310 but I don't think they're quite as good, but they're not bad.

You have GOT to try this place.

Try Miller's Smorgasbord, Route 30 & Ronks Rd. (Just a few miles from Good & Plenty). This one is a buffet style, all-u-can-eat place. It's $20 per person and well worth it (and there are always coupons in local newspapers).
