My wife and I just discovered a new italian restaurant call Portobello
on shiloh Avenue on Mt. Washington.

This was the best italian food that we've had in a very long time. Has
 anyone else tried this place?

 Let me know.

Actually, yes ... they're right downstairs from us!

We were going to wait a while to announce this, but this seems as good
a time as any: WWW over to http://portobello.lm.com/ for a menu.

The hot sausage is homemade. The tira mi su is homemade. The wedding
soup is the best I've had in Pittsburgh.

This is simple, quality food. I have enjoyed what I've had there very
 much.

I'm a bit behind, but there are some current menus, and links to others
 who've done the same.

I highly recommend the new Monterey Seafood Grotto (the old Christopher's on
Mt. Washington). One of the best meals I've had anywhere.
