 I agree...The Venus was OK when I was a kid (but then again, I was a
 kid).  Diners I really like are (be advised, these are not all old
 fashioned stainless steel diners, but if breakfast is their main
 thing, it's a diner to me!):

 Ritters Diner - Baum Blvd.
 DeLuca's - The Strip (My Favorite)
 Eastland - Butler, PA
 Eppingers - Portersville
 Isly's - Westview
 Summit Diner - Somerset
 Valiants - Babcock Blvd, North Hills (this is a good one)
 Only to name a few.................
