Their web site has a page for the 2000 awards. http://www.county.allegheny.pa.us/achd/fsa2000/index.asp A lot of places on the list are not regular restaurants, e.g., Daily Juice Products and the Waterworks Giant Eagle, but I do note that Laforet is on the list. In poking around the site, I found something rather interesting, though. They have a month-by-month list of new restaurant openings, with address, phone number, hours, brief description, price range, credit cards, etc. (all information supplied by the facilities). The July 2002 list has 47 entries (!). It is http://www.county.allegheny.pa.us/achd/resopen/index.asp and has links to previous months (June has 23 entries). This could be really useful.
